A summers evening fishing

July was a very busy month with work and other things going on, so I only managed one fishing session which was on the evening of 30 July. I went to Sprinwood Fishery and had the bottom lake all to myself on a very hot evening. I float fished red maggots over loose fed maggots and after a few casts I was catching Roach and watching the Carp topping and rolling on the surface. As the evening wore on I continued to catch more Roach, some Bream and small Carp and then a few larger Carp up to about 4lb. The only session of the month, a short session, but very enjoyable.
